Today I'm reviewing the Blitzen line from Bo Bunny at The Scrap Review. I hope you'll stop by and check it out. There's a great giveaway. ;)
I often use bits and pieces from Bo Bunny, but this was my first time to challenge myself to use an entire collection. Honestly I was a bit afraid of all the patterns, but I surprised myself and couldn't be happier with the results.
Patterned paper, stickers, jewels, buttons: Bo Bunny Blitzen; Punches: Fiskars, EK Success; Maple leaf die cut: Silhouette; Cardstock: Bazzill; Twine: The Twinery; Tape: 7Gypsies; Other: Tim Holtz tiny attacher, vintage typewriter
I had so much fun creating this layout. I've actually scrapped very few of the pictures I took at the Vancouver Olympics and was so happy that this one worked well with the colors in the Blitzen collection (even if it isn't a great quality photo).
The journaling is all about our quest to find those illusive maple leaf mittens. It's a story I didn't want to forget and am so glad that I finally got it down on paper.
What are you waiting for? Hop on over to The Scrap Review and check out the giveaway!
Mindy

Cute LO! Loved your story about the elusive red mittens. I bought a pair when they first came out, and then when I tried to buy a few more for gifts? Forget it. I couldn't find any. Hope you had fun in beautiful B.C.!
